I have lived in Harlem all of my life. It's not what it once was but it's still awesome. There is nowhere else i'd rather live. Unfortunately I don't think my finances will allow me to stay here for the rest of my life. It's getting more and more expensive and affordable housing is being knocked down and replaced by condos and co-ops that a lot of folks cannot afford. I'll be buying a home somewhere out of New York in a few years. I'm going to miss it.

I think it is awesome that you are just picking up and moving.Not too many people are able to do that, so Kudos to you.
This should definitely be an adventure, one that I'll hopefully get to read about!
